Embodied Strength & Grounded Power

At Mekayoga, we believe grounding isn’t only found in stillness alone — sometimes it’s discovered through movement, breath, and meeting your own strength.

During the week, we offer a guided Embodied Strength session inspired by elements of functional movement, animal flow and boxing. It’s about connection — to yourself, your body, your voice, and your boundaries.

In a safe and supportive space, you’ll playfully explore dynamic movement in a way that feels empowering rather than intimidating. Think presence, coordination, nervous system regulation, and playful partner exercises — not competition.

What This Session Is Really About

  • Feeling your strength in your body

  • Learning to express clear boundaries in movement

  • Exploring how you respond under light intensity

  • Reconnecting with your power in a grounded way

  • Building confidence through embodied experience

This is a guided workshop woven into the retreat week — a complement to yoga, not a replacement for it.

What You’ll Experience

  • Gentle introduction to foundational boxing-inspired movements

  • Partner-based awareness exercises to explore connection and boundaries

  • Functional, grounding movement patterns that build confidence and stability

  • Breathwork and integration to settle the nervous system afterward

  • A space that feels safe, supportive, and often surprisingly joyful
